Wanis at SIAL 2010

Wanis, the UK's leading African and Caribbean food specialists, exhibited in late 2010 at SIAL - the global food market event in Paris, France. The company exhibited under the UKTI banner and teamed up with other UK companies to represent the vibrant UK export business.

As the steady flow of 136,500 professional international visitors moved through the shelves of this gigantic hypermarket, Wanis stand enjoyed a great deal of interest from visitors for its broad range of authentic products on display.

The level of interest generated at the stand in SIAL affirms the interest in the African and Caribbean food and drink market in the UK.

In the UK, Wanis name has become synonymous in the trade as the source of authentic African and Caribbean food products and the SIAL event marked the beginning of its expansion into Europe.

Some of the brands displayed at the show include Tropical Sun, Barons, Dragon Stout, Carib Lager, Bigga Soft drinks, Africa's Finest, Hypermalt, Sarsaparilla and Magnum.
